I am an experienced, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a strong dedication to supporting individuals through their mental health challenges. Specialising in providing compassionate and evidence-based care, I have extensive experience working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, addictions, domestic violence etc. I offer tailored support for couples navigating relationship difficulties, helping them build healthier and more fulfilling connections.

With a comprehensive understanding of the complex emotional and psychological needs of diverse populations, I am committed to fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences and develop effective coping strategies. I utilise a range of therapeutic approaches, include EMDR & Gottman Method.  Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychoeducation/Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to empower individuals on their journey to recovery and well-being.

Flourish Tree Wellbeing was founded out of a deep passion for helping individuals navigate their personal struggles and life’s inevitable challenges. Chioma Obimma, the founder, has worked in various sectors, including addictions, justice, mental health, and hospitals. Through these diverse experiences, Chioma discovered a recurring theme: the incredible power of human resilience and the ability to flourish even after facing significant adversity.

Chioma’s journey in the human services sector has not only equipped her with practical skills but also instilled in her a deep empathy and understanding of the complexities of the human experience. From working with individuals recovering from addiction, those battling anxiety or depression, or couples seeking to rebuild their relationships, Chioma’s work has always been driven by a core belief that with the right support, every person has the potential to heal, grow, and thrive.
